I bought this for a kitchen remodel & I'm glad I did! I purchased it for some of the following features: Clean looking front panel, no handle jutting out, control panel on top of the door-out of site. Though once it was installed I realized I couldn't see the controls at all because the counter top covered it so you can't read the remaining cycle time. Doesn't matter to me since I run it at night. SS tub. I liked having 3 spray arms (top, middle, lower), heated dry (not all washers do anymore), adjustable upper rack that also glides EASILY in & out. Yes it really does! The finger print resistant stainless finish is great. I haven't seen any prints & the few drips I've seen wiped clean nicely with a soft towel. I like how quiet it is! I have to stand next to it & only then can you hear it slightly & know it's running. LOVE it! I liked the selection of cycles. I'm happy it's made in America but I wish they would use a sticker that peels off easily & cleanly. Not interested in seeing that for the next 10 yrs. I've been using it for about a month. Here's what I found... I put a cookie sheet in with baked on grease & it came out cleaner than before I used it. Dishes with dried on food came out clean. I fried sausage, bacon & eggs in a stainless pan & it sparkled when it came out. I typically use the Auto Cycle & get great results. I'm very pleased with the way it cleans. Con-the tines don't fold down to make room. Warning about tall items--even though the top rack is slanted & raised to accommodate them you have to watch that it doesn't impede the center spray arm. I noticed after a wash, a pan was in the way, but I have to say the load was still clean. Remember, the Maytag 10YR warr. ONLY covers the rack (not wheels), chopper Blade& SS tub. All that said, after I purchased this washer I happened upon the consumer affairs website that talked extensively about the Maytag control panel issues. I may have thought twice. For now, I'll enjoy & keep my fingers crossed.

Love the handle-less design, the top controls, stainless steel chopper and it's sooo quiet compared to our old diswasher. The downside is the top rack tracks are basically a known problem by whirlpool. They don't allow the top rack to retract all the way in, preventing the door from closing. This leads to either a dishwasher that wont close and turn on, or in our case, a dishwasher that doesn't close completely and leaks when it runs. Whirlpool customer service was very understanding since this is basically an acknowledged problem. They promptly sent out a service technician from a third party and they replaced the tracks under warranty, free of charge. Glad I called within the first year! I don't understand why they're still selling models like this one if it's known to have problems that require replacement parts - hopefully it's fixed now. We've only owned it 2 months, so that's about all I can say.
